The Pureflo ESM PAPR combines head, eye, face and respiratory protection in a single compact lightweight helmet system. The ESM (Electronic Systems Management) uses a CPU (computer processing unit) along with audible tones and LED lights to tell the wearer when to recharge the batteries, the effective life of the filter and alerts them if there is any disruption in the airflow.
