As part of the Disability Discrimination Act, and to meet Building Codes of Australia requirements, it is now MANDATORY to provide Tactile Warning Indicators to stairs, ramps and many other hanging conditions. These Tactile Indicators have a raised profile to alert visually impaired individuals of an upcoming hazard, or provide them with guidance for safe passage.
 Rubber Tactile Indicators 
The rubber tactile indicators are available in types: round ridge patterns for warning of hazards; or a long straight ridge pattern for directional guidance.
 Porcelain Tactile Indicators 
These Porcelain Inlaid Tactile Indicators are the permanent solution. Manufactured from high-grade porcelain, they boast a 10 year warranty.
 Stainless Steel Tactile Indicator Studs 
The Stainless Steel Studs have a raised profile to alert visually impaired individuals of an upcoming hazard.
